I've Been Thinking... - Some Writing Blogs To Inspire You This Weekend.

Hi!!!

I've been writing my whole life (at least, since I've known how). My dream is to be a published writer and so I'm always eager to learn from others and to hear about the writing processes of the authors who've made it to the shelves. As such, I have some favourite writing blogs and some favourite articles written by writers and stuff like that so I thought I'd share. Hopefully, the writers amongst you will find them useful and the rest of you might just find them an interesting read.

Writing Blogs.

Yeah Write (HERE). First of all, what a name for a writing blog - I love the play on words. Anyway, its well organised on the whole (especially the super useful/interesting Writing Advice section) so you should be able to find what you're looking for. There are also prompts for when you need a bit of inspiration, although I haven't used these much.

Reference for Writers (HERE). This one is very informative and there are resources, graphics and advice all in one place on Reference for Writers. It has a lot of 'research' related things, so if you need specific info for your writing and don't know where to start with looking into it (or you feel a bit weird looking up certain things... especially if you write crime...) this is the place for you.

Writing Helpers (HERE). I like this one. It provides a bunch of advice and there are quite a few 'answered questions', so maybe the types of things other people wanted to know will help you with what you need to know.

Waterstones blog (HERE). I like the Waterstones blog. There are plenty of features about upcoming or recently published books and so its a good way to get recommendations across any genre - I obviously think reading is enjoyable, and its also a great way to learn as a writer (yes, I just gave you  an excellent and totally valid reason to buy 18429726772 books... you're welcome).

WHSmith blog (HERE). WHSmith's blog has a lot going on. There are features about books, advice from authors and even advice from artists. I think its really interesting to read about other peoples writing processes and success stories and so the content really appeals to me. These are some of my favourites (so far) -  Is Your Finger Hovering Over That Submit Button? (HERE), Top Tips for Being Creative (HERE), How I Write (HERE).

Thanks for reading, I hope you found this interesting. Do be sure to let me know if you like posts like these and I'll maybe do more of them.
What are you passionate about? Do you enjoy writing? What do you think of the blogs and articles mentioned? What are you getting up to this weekend? Be sure to let me know in the comments, I would love to hear from you.
Have a great weekend, everyone. Big love to you all.

I hope your day is full of inspiration and motivation!
